Oklahoma blood tracking  is dedicated to tracking and education at the same  time. Blood tracking is just not going out there looking for blood it all starts with the training .Blood tracking in itself is pretty self 

explanatory you see blood and you follow it . You see blood tracking is more than that it is a sport and with that sport comes refining your skills what color was the blood how was it was it splattered or was it dripping . 

       All of this a blood tracker should know to some extent . Blood tracking is a sport unlike any other it is designed for the handler to put full faith in their dog . We as blood trackers know that this can be difficult and it can be very hard to do at times because of the human factor we think and we think we are smarter 

than our canine friend . In reality this is their field of expertise, the blood tracker tracks  a few different ways of coarse smell of blood tracking the blood so that  they can get a general idea of what they are hunting for  .

The most important in blood tracking is knowing your canine and knowing tracking signs , you do not have to be a superstar to be successful or even blood track you do not have to know everything about the sport 

because lets face it  we are just the handler not the lead on this so , some people really have to rely on their 

dog for the blood tracking and that in itself is  hard that is  why most of the certified teams are highly trained and highly successful .

Having a trained blood tracking dog is important because most people train year round , most people train their dog in season and the most important is knowing whom is tracking your deer ,

we have all made less than perfect shots , the important thing to do is wait or track the deer as far as you may visually can track it or just call a dog in that can find it within 10-15 min depending on the blood trail .

remember when in doubt back out more deer are found from backing out then pushing the wounded animal hopefully this has been educational and good hunting !
